Igår kväll valde jag en ny bok att läsa. Det blev *trumvirvel*: ’Marek Halter: The book of Abraham’. Detta är visserligen inte något helt annorlunda än de senaste böcker jag läst då detta är en sorts epos/familjekrönika om en (judisk) familj under nästan 2000 år. Boken börjar med att romarna intar Jerusalem år 70 och driver bort Abraham och hans familj. Abrahams fru dödas under flykten men Abraham och hans två söner tar sig vidare mot Alexandria. Det är så långt jag kommit hittills. Denna bok har legat i min ’att läsa hög’ sedan slutet av -80 talet!
